Certificate of Restoration
As with any antique, determining the authentication of the
antique is critical in arriving at an antique's true value - in
this case antique pump organs.
Without it, you could just have an old musical instrument
that may or may not work, and would therefore be considered
worthless.
However, in all the pump organ restoration work that I
perform for my customers they receive the following
documentation certifying that their pump organ has been
completely and professionally restored.
- "Certificate of Restoration"
indicating date of restoration by a professional restorer
and member of the Reed Organ Society
- "Letter of Appraisal" providing a
suggested retail value
- "Restoration Photo Album" showing the
step by step restoration process
- "Reed Organ Society Registration" to
by included in the societies reed organ data base of
restored reed organs
The following information will also be provided if it is
available.
- The year the organ was built,
- where the manufacture was located,
- a brief history of the company,
- year the company was established, and
- information about the owners
